When you place an order with G Fitted Wardrobes, these Terms and Conditions will apply. They explain your rights, our duties, and what you can expect from start to finish. We want everything to be clear and fair, so there are no surprises. Please read these terms before confirming your order. They cover ordering, surveys, fitting, payments, and aftercare. If you have any questions, you can contact us for help at any time. We will always be happy to explain the details and guide you through the process. These Terms and Conditions, along with your quotation and deposit, form the full agreement between you and G Fitted Wardrobes.
- You may cancel your order within 14 days. To do this, send a written notice by post or email.
- After 14 days, cancelling or changing the job will involve costs. These costs include materials, labour, and other services already used. Deposits may be applied against these costs.
- Local site visits and valuations are free. For central London, Birmingham, or other extended areas, a call-out fee will be agreed before the visit.
- Your property must be ready for fitting and free from damp, rot, or structural issues. You must inform us if problems exist. If not, the agreement may be cancelled and costs may be claimed.
- All items are made to measure. A survey will be arranged within 14 days of the order. This checks sizes and access, but does not find hidden faults. If changes are needed, a revised quotation will be given.
- If installation becomes impractical for technical reasons, we will explain this in writing. An alternative option may be offered. If no agreement is reached, either party may end the contract. Payments will be refunded, minus costs already incurred.
- Small changes may be made to designs when necessary. These will not affect the quality, look, or function of the goods.
- If an item cannot be supplied on time, a product of equal or higher standard may be offered with your consent.
- Every effort will be made to deliver and fit on the agreed date. If delays occur beyond our control, a new date will be set. We are not responsible for any loss caused by such delays.
- You must allow access on the agreed date. If this is not possible, notify us as soon as possible so a new date can be arranged.
- Goods will be installed with care and skill. Guarantees apply once the balance is paid and installation is complete. Goods must be cared for and maintained as advised.
- We are not liable for unforeseen losses or business-related losses. Natural changes to wood, such as fading, are not covered.
- Reasonable access must be provided for delivery, installation, and any follow-up visits.
- Rooms will be left clean and tidy. Some decoration damage may occur during fitting and must be repaired by the customer. We remain liable only for clear or excessive damage.
- Electricity and other services must be available free of charge during installation.
- Some disruption to room use is normal during fitting. Steps will be taken to reduce this where possible.
- Goods are at your risk once delivered. Ownership passes to you only after full payment. Until then, you must protect and insure the goods.
- Any changes to this agreement must be confirmed in writing.
- A 50% deposit is required when placing your order. The remaining balance is due on completion. Payment can be made by bank transfer or cash.
- All services, including electrical work, are provided at a cost based on the specific scope and requirements of the project.
- Our services are fee-based, with pricing determined by the complexity and demands of each individual job.
- All goods have a 10-year guarantee after full payment and fitting. This does not cover water damage.
